Glastonbury Festival attracts 180,000 music lovers every year
Glastonbury Festival is one of the best known and longest running festivals in the UK attracting over 180,000 music lovers every year.
In 2010, FairTunes was invited by The Common, a new area at the festival, to provide one night’s entertainment hosted in the Igloo Tent. Our line-up included afro beat DJs Sofrito and headliners Systema Solar from Colombia. Systema Solar totally filled the tent to capacity for the duration of their gig and the FairTunes event became one of the highlights of the field that year. We also put on a backstage party and attendees very generously donated around £700 to our cause. Watch the video of Systema Solar live on stage.
